学校概况

　　

无锡科技职业学院是江苏省首家由国家级高新技术开发区举办的公办高职院校、江苏省示范性高职院校。

　　

学校位于中国最具经济活力的长三角几何中心、吴文化发源地、素有“太湖明珠”之称的历史文化名城——江苏省无锡市，坐落在拥有3000多家高新技术企业、53家世界500强企业的国家级开发区——无锡高新技术开发区的核心地带。毗邻景色优美怡人的新洲生态园，周边机场、高铁、地铁等交通基础设施完备，环境优雅、交通便利。

留学生工作管理委员会的工作范围包括：负责制定留学生工作管理制度；统筹协调留学生招生录取与教学管理工作；建设留学生培养工作的师资队伍；统筹协调留学生日常管理、宿舍管理、安全保障、医疗保障、资金保障、突发事件处理以及其他相关保障服务工作。

　　

三、入学与注册

　　

1.按国家招生规定录取的新生，持录取通知书、护照、高中成绩单等有关证件及材料，按学校规定的期限到校办理入学手续。因故不能按期入学的，应于报到截止日期前向学校提交书面申请，办理请假手续。请假周期不可超过两周。未请假或者请假逾期的，除因不可抗力等正当事由以外，视为放弃入学资格。

　　

2.学校在报到时对新生入学资格进行初步审查，审查合格并经出入境检疫部门认定身体健康的办理入学手续。教务处根据新生入学报到及入学资格初审情况注册学籍，并按照教育部相关要求完成学信网新生学籍电子注册工作。

　　

经学校审查如发现新生的录取通知、考生信息等证明材料，与本人实际情况不符，或者有其他违反国家招生规定情形的，取消入学资格。

　　

3.以下情况，新生可以向学校申请保留入学资格。保留入学资格期间不具有学籍。

　　

(1)经二级甲等(含)以上医院诊断，认为不宜在学校学习、但经短期治疗后可达到健康标准的，由新生本人申请、学校批准，可保留入学资格一年。

　　

(2)因其它因素无法入学的，由新生本人申请、学校批准，可保留入学资格一年。

　　

新生保留入学资格期满前应向学校申请入学，经学校审查合格后，办理入学手续。审查不合格的，取消入学资格;逾期不办理入学手续且未有因不可抗力延迟等正当理由的，视为放弃入学资格。

　　

4.学生入学后，学校在3个月内按照国家招生规定进行复查。复查内容主要包括以下方面

　　

(1)录取手续及程序等是否合乎国家招生规定；

　　

(2)所获得的录取资格是否真实、合乎相关规定;

　　

(3)本人及身份证明与录取通知是否一致;

　　

(4)身心健康状况是否符合报考专业或者专业类别体检要求，能否保证在校正常学习与生活。

　　

复查中发现学生存在弄虚作假、徇私舞弊等情形的，确定为复查不合格，取消学籍;情节严重的，学校将移交有关部门调查处理。

　　

复查中发现学生身心状况不适宜在校学习，经学校指定的二级甲等(含)以上医院诊断，需要在家休养的，可以按照本章第3条的规定保留入学资格。

　　

复查的程序和办法，参照学校当年新生复查的程序及办法处理。

　　

5.每学期开学时，学生应当按学校规定办理注册手续。不能如期注册者，应当履行暂缓注册手续。未按学校规定缴纳学费或者有其他不符合注册条件的，不予注册。

　　

四、签证

　　

1.持有效签证或居留许可，可以前往中国政府规定的对外国人开放的地区旅行。未经允许，请勿进入不对外国人开放的地区和场所。违反上述规定，公安机关将按外国人管理法的相关规定予以处理。

　　

2.留学生申请办理或者延长在华学习居留许可，一般由学校进行担保一年一签，受到严重警告及以上处分的则半年一签，学校认定不适合在校学习的情况，则不提供担保。

　　

3.再次入境签证、签证类型变更及居留许可延期手续

　　

持F类签证的留学生在其签证有效期内出境并需返回中国的，需提前持有效护照、居住地所属派出所出具的“境外人士临时住宿登记”凭证(住校内外的学生均需办理)、护照复印件(照片页、签证页和最后一次入境签章页)、经检索的数码签证照片和回执等前往无锡市行政服务中心办理再次入境签证手续。未按规定办理而引起的一切问题均由学生本人负责。

　　

根据中国政府的有关规定，来华学习半年期限的国际学生可持F类签证，学历生必须申办X类签证，并在规定时间内办理居留许可。手续是:凭外国留学人员来华签证申请表(JW202表)、入境检验检疫局出具的健康证明、录取通知书、居住地所属派出所出具的“境外人士临时住宿登记表”(住校内外的学生均需办理)、学校在读证明、有效护照、护照复印件(照片页、签证页和最后一次入境签章页)和经检索的数码签证照片和回执等向无锡市行政服务中心申请变更签证，并办理居留许可。未按规定办理而引起的一切问题均由学生本人负责。

　　

留学生学习结束离开中国，凭本人有效护照并在签证或居留许可的有效期内出境。如因故不能按期出境，需提出申请，经批准办理签证延期手续。

　　

在居留许可有效期期满后需继续在中国学习的留学生，应在有效期满前申请延长。手续是:持有效护照、居住地所属派出所出具的“境外人士临时住宿登记表”(住校内外的学生均需办理)、护照复印件(照片页、签证页和最后一次入境签章页)、经检索的数码签证照片和回执等前往无锡市行政服务中心办理。

　　

过期未办理延期手续者，公安局将处以罚款。各项签证、证件不得私自涂改、损坏，违者将受到处罚。

　　

4.关于随身携带身份证件的提示

　　

根据中国左边法律右边的规定和公安局的要求，留学生离开校园或住所外出的时候，需随身携带护照和身份证件，以便警方随时查验。如遇警方盘查时，需主动配合，向警方出示护照和身份证件。

　　

五、收费及退费办法

　　

1.自费生在入学报到时以人民币现金缴纳学费、住宿费;新生还需缴纳报名费。学习期限不满一学期者，按半年标准缴交学费;学习期限在一学期以上，一学年以下者，按一年标准缴交学费。不按规定缴费者不予注册。

　　

2.自费生必须最迟在开学后10天内缴纳学费。因特殊原因，由本人申请，经学校同意，可以缓缴，但不得迟于报到后一个月。缓交学费者需另交学期学费总额百分之五的滞纳金。但是否同意缓交，学校主管部门视具体个案而定。

　　

住宿费一般按年度缴纳，缓交住宿费者也需另缴学期住宿费总额的百分之五滞纳金。因结业、休学、退学等原因而离校时，该年度已缴纳住宿费不予退还。

　　

3.自费生缴纳学费后要求退费，开课前可退80%，开课后中途辍学、退学要求退学费者，上半年4月30日前办理，退还50%，5月1日后不办理；下半年10月30前办理，退50%，1月1日后不再办理；已办理延长签证或居留许可者，需变更签证成注销居留许可后方可申请办理退费手续。被开除学籍者，已交学费不退。

　　

4.留学生必须按照国家有关规定和学校要求购买来华留学生意外伤害、医疗等相关保险。中途退学者，保费不退。

　　

六、考勤与纪律

　　

1.留学生应按时参加培养计划规定和学校统一安排的一切活动，自觉遵守学习纪律，不迟到，不早退，不旷课。留学生上课、实验实习等均实行考勤。任课教师应有留学生的出勤记载，并报二级学院备案。留学生因病或其他原因不能坚持学习，应当办理请假手续。

　　

2.留学生因病请假，须凭二级甲等(含)以上医院证明。请事假须附其他有关证明。在人才培养方案规定的学习期间不得请长假旅行。

　　

3.留学生请假期满后，留学生应及时回到所在班级参加学习;如需续假者，按请假规定及时办理续假手续。请假超过本学期总学时三分之一以上的留学生，予以休学处理。如本人未申请休学，则作退学处理。

　　

4.对有违反左边法律右边法规、本规定以及学校纪律行为的学生，学校给予批评教育，并可视情节轻重，给予如下纪律处分:

　　

(1)警告;

　　

(2)严重警告;

　　

(3)记过;

　　

(4)留校察看;

　　

(5)开除学籍。

　　

5.留学生无故不得缺席班主任召开的班会或谈心谈话、学校统一组织的要求留学生出席的各类文体活动等。如未经请假或请假未经批准缺席班会、班主任谈心谈话、各二级学院组织的文体活动等记为旷课2学时;未经请假或请假未经批准缺席学校统一组织并要求参加的文体活动的，记为旷课4个学时。

　　

6.学生有下列情形之一，学校可以给予开除学籍处分:

　　

(1)违反中国国家宪法，反对四项基本原则、破坏安定团结、扰乱社会秩序的;

　　

(2)触犯国家左边法律右边，构成刑事犯罪的;

　　

(3)受到治安管理处罚，情节严重、性质恶劣的;

　　

(4)代替他人或者让他人代替自己参加考试、组织作弊、使用通讯设备或其他器材作弊、向他人出售考试试题或答案牟取利益，以及其他严重作弊或扰乱考试秩序行为的;

　　

(5)论文、公开发表的研究成果存在抄袭、篡改、伪造等学术不端行为，情节严重的，或者代写论文、买卖论文的;

　　

(6)违反本规定和学校规定，严重影响学校教育教学秩序、生活秩序以及公共场所管理秩序的;

　　

(7)侵害其他个人、组织合法权益，造成严重后果的;

　　

(8)屡次违反学校规定受到纪律处分，经教育不改的。

　　

7.学校对学生作出处分，应当出具处分决定书。处分决定书应当包括下列内容:

　　

(1)学生的基本信息;

　　

(2)作出处分的事实和证据;

　　

(3)处分的种类、依据、期限;

　　

(4)申诉的途径和期限;

　　

(5)其他必要内容。

　　

8.学校给予学生处分，应当坚持教育与惩戒相结合，与学生违法、违纪行为的性质和过错的严重程度相适应。学校对学生的处分，应当做到证据充分、依据明确、定性准确、程序正当、处分适当。

　　

9.在对学生作出处分或者其他处理决定之前，学校应当告知学生作出决定的事实、理由及依据，并告知学生享有陈述和申辩的权利，听取学生的陈述和申辩。处理、处分决定以及处分告知书等，应当直接送达学生本人，学生拒绝签收的，可以留置方式送达;已离校的，可以采取邮寄方式送达;难于联系的，可以利用学院橱窗、学院网站、新闻媒体等以公告方式送达。

　　

10.对学生作出取消入学资格、开除学籍或者其他涉及学生重大利益的处理或者处分决定的，应当提交校长办公会或者校长授权的专门会议研究决定。

　　

11.除开除学籍处分以外，给予学生处分一般应当设置6到12个月期限，到期按学校规定程序予以解除。解除处分后，学生获得表彰、奖励及其他权益，不再受原处分的影响。

　　

12.对学生的奖励、处理、处分及解除处分材料，学校应当真实完整地归入学校文书档案和本人档案。

　　

13.被开除学籍的学生，由学校发给学习证明。学生按学校、公安出入境部门规定期限离校出境。

　　

七、考核与成绩记载

　　

1.学校实行学分制管理。

　　

2.学生应当参加学校专业人才培养方案规定的课程和各种教育教学环节(以下统称课程)的考核，考核成绩记入成绩册，并归入学籍档案。

　　

3.考核分为考试和考查两种。成绩的评定一般采用百分制或四级分制(优秀、良好、及各、不及格)等记分方式，按学期记载。

　　

课程考核的总评成绩应结合平时、期中、期末考核和技能考核成绩综合评定。平时考核成绩根据学生学习态度、提问、课外作业和测验等情况综合评定。综合实践课的考核成绩应根据技能考核标准和综合实践过程表现进行综合评定

　　

学生所学课程的考核均须取得60分(或及格)以上的成绩方可取得相应的学分。考核不合格的课程，学生可选择重修或补考。

　　

4.学生可以申请辅修校内其他专业或者选修其他专业课程;可以申请跨校辅修专业或者修读课程，参加学校认可的开放式网络课程学习。学生修读的课程成绩(学分)，学校审核同意后，予以承认。

　　

5.学生参加创新创业、社会实践等活动以及发表论文、获得专利授权等与专业学习、学业要求相关的经历、成果，可以折算为学分，计入学业成绩。

　　

6.学校健全学生学业成绩和学籍档案管理制度，真实、完整地记载、出具学生学业成绩，对通过补考、重修获得的成绩，予以标注。公选课多选可在规定时间内退选。若没退选且没参与学习或学习成绩不及格，将予以标注。学生因退学等情况中止学业，其在校学习期间所修课程及已获得学分，应当予以记录。学生重新参加入学考试、符合录取条件，再次入学的，其已获得学分，经学校认定，可予以承认。

　　

7.学生严重违反考核纪律或者作弊的，该课程考核成绩记为无效，不得参加学期补考，并应视其违纪或者作弊情节，给予相应的纪律处分。给予警告、严重警告、记过及留校察看处分的，经教育表现较好，可在处分解除后给予该课程补考或者重修机会。

　　

8.学生应当按时参加教育教学计划规定的活动。不能按时参加的应当事先请假并获得批准，无故缺考者，成绩以零分计入。

　　

　　

　　

八、住宿管理规定

　　

1.凡在无锡科技职业学院正式注册的学生，都有住宿的权利，有遵守宿舍管理有关规定的义务。

　　

2.学生住宿须服从海外教育学院、后勤处的统一调配。

　　

3.学生须按分配的宿舍、床位对号住宿，不得擅自调换宿舍、床位及门锁。不准私自安排他人住宿。

　　

4.每个宿舍推选宿舍长一名，其职责是协助做好本室成员的思想工作，并负责本室成员的课余学习、宿舍卫生、体育锻炼、生活事务和公共财物的管理工作，宿舍长由本室成员民主选举产生。

　　

5.爱护公共财物，保持室内财产完整无缺、无损;室内的一切公物不得任意移用或挪作他用;也不得擅自将学校其它公物搬到室内。严禁在室内或走廊墙壁上乱涂乱贴;严禁用脚踢门，用脚踢踩墙壁。凡损坏的照价赔偿，并视情节轻重给予纪律处分。若查不到直接责任者，赔偿由该宿舍成员共同承担。

　　

6.讲究卫生，自觉养成良好的卫生习惯。宿舍长负责室内外管理，建立卫生值日制度，保持室内整洁有序。严禁随地吐痰，乱扔纸屑、瓜皮果壳及杂物;严禁向室外、走廊、楼下倒水及乱抛物品;严禁用水冲洗宿舍、走廊、楼梯;严禁在水槽、排污地漏、抽水马桶内丢弃废物。

　　

7.注意安全用电和节约用电。人离宿舍要断电关灯，严禁私接电线、使用明火、使用大功率电器、焚烧物品。节约用水，用完后关紧水龙头，严禁任意动用宿舍楼中的消防设备，禁止开启配电箱及破坏广播、通讯等设施。

　　

8.严格遵守作息制度，按时起床、就寝。迟归、早出凭学生证或班主任签条登记出入。严禁在宿舍内大声喧哗、打闹;严禁在熄灯后点蜡烛或使用其它照明工具;禁止熄灯后大声喧哗吵闹、弹奏乐器、收听音乐，影响他人休息。

　　

9.为确保人身安全，严禁坐在宿舍阳台护栏上玩耍、聊天;严禁在阳台护栏上放置花盆、椅子等物品，严禁翻越围墙、门窗。

　　

10.禁止学生在宿舍内做饭。

　　

11.禁止熄灯后在他人宿舍逗留，在盥洗室洗衣服。

　　

12.禁止，在宿舍区吸烟、喝酒、打球;禁止一切形式的赌博或变相赌博活动;禁止将VCD及电视机等带到寝室内使用。

　　

13.禁止阅读、收听、观看、传播、制作、贩卖非法书刊和声像制品。

　　

14.不得参与非法传销和进行邪教、封建迷信活动。未经批准，学生在宿舍区域不得从事经商活动，违者给予批评教育直至纪律处分。

　　

15.未经批准，宿舍内不得留宿校外人员，住宿生不得在外留宿。

　　

16.宿舍内实行封闭式管理，男、女生宿舍严禁异性学生入内，若有特殊情况须经辅导员或班主任批准、登记后方可进入。

　　

17.做好安全防范工作，离开房间或宿舍无人时都必须将房门关好、锁好。

　　

18.损坏公物要赔偿，宿舍维修实行报修制度，需维修的物品报宿舍管理员处。

　　

19.假期留校者须经海外教育学院(相应二级学院)批准，于放假前一周内办理住宿登记手续，并将汇总名单报送校保卫处备案。未经批准擅自留宿者，要严肃处理，并补交住宿管

　　

20.违反上述有关条款规定者，根据《无锡科技职业学院学生违纪处理规定》予以酌情扣分或纪律处分，其他未尽事宜可参照学校中国学生管理手册执行。

　　

九、医疗

　　

1.新生报到后必须在相关出入境检验检疫部门进行体检，经检查身体健康状况不合格者，不予注册。

　　

2.根据中国教育部规定，来华留学生必须购买保险，否则不予注册或予以退学。学生需要在每学年报到时缴纳缴清该年度所需的保险费用。

　　

3.留学生生病应及时就医，确诊为严重疾病需及时报告海外教育学院。学生医疗费用自理，保险理赔时海外教育学院可协助提供必要的材料。

　　

4.一切因学生本人违法违纪造成的人身伤害或医疗费用，学校概不负责。

　　

十、课余生活

　　

1.学校设有体育馆，设有网球场、篮球场、足球场等体育活动设施，留学生可按学校有关规定使用。

　　

2.留学生可以参加本校学生会组织的社团、运动队及有关的课余文娱体育活动，欢迎参加校方在重大节日举办的各种庆祝活动。

　　

3.根据《中华人民共和国外国人入境出境管理条例》规定，来华实习留学生，持学习类居留证件的外国人所持居留证件未加注前款规定信息的，不得在校外勤工助学或实习。如未经过校方同意在外勤工助学或实习，一切后果由本人承担，与校方无关。

　　

4.学校尊重外国留学生的民族习俗和宗教信仰，但任何组织和个人不得在宿舍、校园内开展任何形式的宗教活动。

　　

5.外国人禁止携带有危害中国社会公共利益内容的印刷品和音像制品来华。

　　

十一、借阅图书

　　

1.留学生凭学生证和校园卡到学校图书馆开通借书功能。

　　

2.要爱护图书，不得涂划或损坏，丢失或损坏图书应按规定赔偿

　　

3.借书证只限本人使用，不得转借他人。

　　

4.以上规定如有变化，应以图书馆制订的管理条例为准。

　　

十二、毕业、结业与肄业

　　

1.学生在学校规定学习年限内，修完人才培养方案规定内容，成绩合格，达到毕业要求的，准予毕业，学生按规定办理离校手续，在离校前领取毕业证书。

　　

2.学生在学校规定学习年限内，修完人才培养方案规定内容，但未达到毕业要求的，准予结业，发结业证书。

　　

3.学满一学年以上退学的学生，学校可发写实性学习证明。

　　

十三、离校

　　

1.学生结业或毕业，在离开本校前，应向有关部门交还借用的物品、图书，并将学生证等交还海外教育学院。

　　

2.学生在离校前一天，应清点归还各项生活用品，离校时交还房间钥匙，自费生应付清住房费用或其他欠款。

　　

3.结业或毕业的学生，在居留许可规定的时间内离校出境。

　　

4.对受到开除学籍处分和退学的学生，由海外教育学院及时通知句容市公安局出入境大队依法取消其居留许可，限期监督离境。

　　

5.根据校方要求，如遇假期需短暂离校，需本人签署《留学生个人安全责任承诺书》，假期期间，学生一切人身财产安全需自负责任。

Ⅲ.Registration

　　

1.Thenewlyenrolledstudentsadmittedaccordingtothenationalenrollmentregulationsmustcometothecollegetogothroughtheenrollmentproceduresonthedatesspecifiedbythecollegewiththeadmissionnotice,passport,highschooltranscriptandotherrelevantcertificatesandmaterials.Ifthestudentisunabletoentertheschoolontime,he1shemusttheformalitiesforaskingforleave.Leaveperiodshouldnotexceedtwoweeks.Thosewhodonotaskforleaveorareoverduewillbedeemedtohavegivenuptheirqualificationforadmission,exceptforlegitimatereasonssuchasforcemajeure.

　　

2.Thecollegewillconductpreliminaryexaminationontheadmissionqualificationofnewstudentsatthetimeofregistration,andhandletheadmissionformalitiesiftheypasstheexaminationandareconfirmedtobehealthybytheentry-exitquarantinedepartment.TheOfficeofTeachingAffairsmustregisterthestudentstatusaccordingtothepreliminaryexaminationoftheenrollmentqualification,andcompletetheelectronicregistrationofthenewstudentstatusonChinaHigherEducationStudentInformationandCareerCenterinaccordancewiththerelevantrequirementsoftheMinistryofEducation.

　　

If,uponexamination,thecollegefindsthattheadmissionnotice,examineeinformationandothersupportingmaterialsofthefreshmendonotconformtotheactualsituationofthefreshmen,orthereareothercircumstancesinviolationofthenationalenrollmentregulations,theadmissionqualificationshallbecanceled.

　　

3.Underthefollowingcircumstances,newstudentscanapplytotheschoolforretentionofadmissionqualifications.His/Herstudentstatuswillnotbekeptduringtheperiodofretentionofadmissionqualification.

　　

(l)ifthestudentisfoundnotsuitabletostudyintheschool,butcanreachthehealthstandardaftershort-termtreatmentafterbeingdiagnosedbyahospitalatoraboveLevelAGrade-2,he/shecanretaintheenrollmentqualificationforoneyearuponapplicationandapprovalofthecollege.

　　

(2)ifthestudentisunabletoreporttotheschoolduetootherreasons,he/shecanretaintheenrollmentqualificationforoneyearuponapplicationandapprovalofthecollege.

　　

Newstudentsmustapplytotheschoolforadmissionbeforetheexpirationoftheirretentionofenrollmentqualification,andgothroughtheenrollmentproceduresafterpassingthequalificationcheckingoftheschool.Thosewhofailtopassthecheckingshallbedisqualified;thosewhofailtogothroughtheenrollmentprocedureswithinthetimelimitandhavenolegitimatereasonssuchasdelayduetoforcemajeureshallbedeemedtohavegivenuptheirenrollmentqualifications.

　　

4.Afterthestudentsarrivedatschool,theschoolshallreviewinaccordancewiththenationalenrollmentregulationswithinthreemonths.Thereviewmainlyincludesthefollowingaspects:

　　

(1)whethertheadmissionproceduresconformtothenationalenrollmentregulations;

　　

(2)whethertheadmissionqualificationsobtainedaretrueandconformtorelevantregulations;

　　

(3)whetherthepersonandidentitycertificateareconsistentwiththeadmissionnotice;

　　

(4)whetherthephysicalandmentalhealthconditionsmeetthephysicalexaminationrequirementsoftheappliedmajorormajorcategorytoensurenormalstudyandlifeinthecollege;

　　

Intherechecking,ifitisfoundthatthephysicalandmentalconditionofthestudentisnotsuitabletocontinuehis/herstudy,andtheyneedtorecuperateathomeafterbeingdiagnosedbyGradeIILevelAhospitaldesignatedbytheschool,theymayretaintheiradmissionqualificationsinaccordancewiththeprovisionsofArticle3ofthischapter.

　　

TheproceduresandmethodsforrecheckingshallbehandledinaccordancewiththeproceduresandmethodsforrecheckingChineseFreshmenofthecollege.

　　

5.Atthebeginningofeachsemester,studentsmustgothroughtheregistrationproceduresaccordingtotheregulationsofthecollege.Incaseoffailuretoregisterasscheduled,theregistrationsuspensionproceduresshallbeperformed.Thosewhofailtopaytuitionfeesinaccordancewiththeregulationsofthecollegeorfailtomeetotherrequirementsforregistrationshallnotberegistered.

　　

Ⅳ.Visa

　　

1.Withavalidvisaorresidencepermit,studentscantraveltoareasopentoforeignersasstipulatedbytheChinesegovernment.Donotenterareasandplacesconfidentialtoforeignerswithoutpermission.Undercircumstancesofviolationoftheaboveprovision,thepublicsecuritydepartmentwillhandleinaccordancewiththerelevantprovisionsofthelawontheadministrationofforeigners.

　　

2.Whenaninternationalstudentappliesfororextendshis/herresidencepermitinChina,he/sheisgenerallyguaranteedbythecollegeonceayear,orhalfayearifhe/sheisseriouslywarnedorgivenharsherpunishment.Ifthecollegefindsthathe/sheisnotsuitableforstudyinginschool,he1shewillnotbegivenaguarantee.

　　

3.Re-entryvisa,changeofvisatypeandextensionofresidencepermit

　　

ForinternationalstudentswithFvisawhowanttoleaveChinaandreturntoChinawithinthevalidityperiodoftheirvisa,theyneedtogotoWuxiAdministrativeServiceCenterinadvancewithvalidpassport,certificateof"temporaryaccommodationregistrationform"issuedbythelocalpolicestation(forstudentsaccommodatebothinsideandoutsidethecollege),copyofpassport(photopage,visapageandthelatestentrypage),retrieveddigital,visaphotoandreceiptetc.Tocompletere-entryvisaformalities.Allproblemscausedbyfailuretocomplywiththeregulationswillbetheresponsibilityofthestudentsthemselves.

　　

AccordingtotherelevantregulationsoftheChinesegovernment,internationalstudentswhocometoChinaforhalfayearcanholdtheFvisa,andthoseadmittedtodiplomaprogrammustbearthexvisaandapplyforresidencepermitwithinthespecifiedtime.Theproceduresareasfollows:bringthevisaapplicationform(JW202form)foroverseasstudentstocometoChina,thehealthcertificateissuedbytheExitandEntryInspectionandQuarantineBureau,theadmissionnotice,theregistrationformfortemporaryaccommodateofoverseaspeopleissuedbythelocalpolicestationforstudentsaccommodatebothinsideandoutsidethecollege),theschool'sstudyingcertificatevalidpassport,copyofpassport(photopage,visapageandlastentrypage)andtheretrieveddigitalvisaphotosandreceipt,etc.toWuxiAdministrativeServiceCenterforvisachangeandapplyforresidencepermit.Allproblemscausedbyfailuretocomplywiththeregulationswillbetheresponsibilityofthestudentsthemselves.

　　

InternationalstudentswhocompleteorendtheirstudymustleaveChinawiththeirvalidpassportsandvalidvisasorresidencepermits.Iftheycan'tleavethecountryontimeforunexpectedreason,theyneedtoapplyandgothroughvisaextensionformalitiesafterapproval,

ThePublicSecurityBureauwillimposeafineonthosewhofailtogothroughtheextensionprocedureswithinthetimelimit.Allvisasandcertificatesmustnotbealteredordamagedwithoutpermission,andviolatorswillbepunished.

　　

4.Tipsoncarrying左边ID右边card

　　

AccordingtotheprovisionsofChineselawandtherequirementsofthePublicSecurityBureau,internationalstudentsarerequiredtocarrytheirpassportsandidentitydocumentswhentheyleavethecampusortheirresidence,sothatthepolicecancheckatanytime.Incaseofanyinquirybythepolice,studentsmusttaketheinitiativetocooperateandshowtheirpass-portsandidentitydocumentstothepolice.

　　

Ⅴ.PaymentandRefundProceduresforStudents

　　

1.Studentsarerequiredtopaytuitionandaccommodationfeesincashandthenewly-arrivedstudentswillalsohavetopayapplicationfees.Thosewhostudyforlessthanasemesterwillhavetopaytuitionfortheentiresemesterandthosewhostudyformorethanasemesterbutlessthanafullacademicyearwillhavetopaytuitionfortheentireacademicyear.Studentswhofailtopaytuitionwithinthespecifiedtimewillnotbeallowedtoregister.

　　

2.Studentsmustpaytuitionnolaterthan10daysafterthestartofthenewsemester.Underspecialcircumstances,astudentmayapplyfortheschool'spermissiontodelaypayment.However,paymentmaynotbedelayedbeyondonemonthafterthestudent'sarrival,andafineforlatepaymentatfivepercentofthetotalpaymentwillbecharged.Whethertheapplicationforlatepaymentwillbeapprovedornotwillbesubjecttothecollegeauthoritiesaccordingtothespecificcase.

　　

Thestudentswillhavetopayoneyear'shousingfee.Thosewhodelaytopayhousingfeeswillhavetopayanadditionalfivepercentofthetotalhousingfeeforonesemester.Whenastudentisleavingoncompletionofstudies,suspensionofschooling,ordroppingout,theaccommodationfeepaidintheyearwillnotberefunded.

　　

3.Thosewhowouldliketoapplyforquittingschoolafterthepaymentofschoolfees,80%ofthetuitionwillberefundedbeforetheclassesbegin.Aftertheclassesbegin,only50%beforeApril30.NorefundwillbemadeafterMay1.Forthesecondhalfyear,50%ofthetuitionwillberefundedbeforeOctober30.AfterNovember1,norefundwillbemade.Thosewhohaveappliedfortheextensionofvisasorresidencepermitscannotgettherefunduntiltheychangethevisaorcanceltheresidencepermits.Norefundwillbemadeforstudentsbeingexpelledfromschool.

　　

4.InlinewiththeregulationssetbytheChinesegovernmentauthorities,thosewhowouldliketostudyatthecollegeforasemesterormorewillhavetopurchaserelevantinsurances左边offer右边edbytheinsurancecompanies.Thisexpenseisnon-refundable.

　　

Ⅵ.ClassAttendanceandDiscipline

　　

1.Internationalstudentsshallparticipateinallactivitiesspecifiedinthetrainingprogramoruniformlyarrangedbytheschoolontime,consciouslyabidebythestudyingdiscipline,andshallnotbelate,leaveearlyorabsentfromclass.Internationalstudentsarerequiredtocheckattendanceinclass,experimentandpractice.Theteachersshallkeepattendancerecordsofinternationalstudentsandreporttothesecondaryschool.Internationalstudentswhoareunabletocontinuetheirstudyduetoillnessorotherreasonsshallgothroughtheformalitiesofaskingforleave.

　　

2.InternationalstudentswhoaskforleaveduetoillnessmustpresentacertificatefromaGradeIILevelAhospitalorabove,andmustattachotherrelevantcertificatesforpersonalleave.Duringtheperiodofstudystipulatedinthetalenttrainingprogram,studentsareprohibitedtotakelongvacationfortraveling.

　　

3.Whentheleaveisover,internationalstudentsmustreturntotheirclassesintimeforstudy;iftheyneedtoextendtheirleave,theymustgothroughtheextensionproceduresintimeaccordingtotheleaverequirements.Internationalstudentswhoaskforleaveformorethanonethirdofthetotalclasshoursofthissemesterwillbesuspended.Ifthestudentdonotapplyforsuspension,he/shewillbeexpelled.

　　

4.Forstudentswhoviolatelawsandregulationsandschooldisciplines,thecollegeshallgivecriticismeducationand,dependingontheseriousnessofthecase,givethefollowingdisciplinarysanctions:

　　

(1)warning;

　　

(2)seriouswarning;

　　

(3)demeritrecording;

　　

(4)toremaininschoolforinspection;

　　

(5)expulsionfromschool.

　　

5.Internationalstudentsareprohibitedtomisstheclassmeetingoreducationalconversationheldbytheheadteacher,andallkindsofculturalandsportsactivitiesrequiredtheattendanceofinternationalstudentsorganizedbythecollege.Incaseofunapprovedabsencefromclassmeeting,educationalconversation,orculturalandsportsactivitiesorganizedbysecondaryschools,etc.,itshallberecordedas2classesofabsenteeism;incaseofunapprovedabsencefromculturalandsportsactivitiesorganizedandrequiredbythecollege,itshallberecordedas4classesofabsenteeism.

　　

6.Underanyofthefollowingcircumstances,studentsmaybeexpelledfromtheschool:

　　

(1)violatingtheconstitution,opposingthefourbasicprinciples,underminingstabilityandunity,anddisturbingsocialorder;

　　

(2)violatingnationallawsandconstitutingacriminaloffence;

　　

(3)beingpunishedbypublicsecuritymanagementforcesforseriousmisbehavior;

　　

(4)takinganexaminationinsteadofothersorlettingotherstaketheexaminationinsteadofthemselves,organizingcheating,usingcheatingequipment,sellingexaminationquestionsoranswerstoothersforprofit,andotherseriouscheatingorharassingbehaviorsthatdisturbtheorderoftheexamination;

　　

(5)plagiarism,falsification,forgeryandotheracademicmisconductexistinpapersandpubliclypublishedresearchresults,andthecircumstancesareserious,ortheywriteonbehalfofothersorsellpaperstoothers;

　　

(6)thosewhoviolatetheseregulationsandschooldisciplinesandseriouslydisturbtheorderofschooleducationandteaching,lifeandpublicplacemanagement;

　　

(7)infringinguponthelegitimaterightsandinterestsofotherindividualsororganizations,resultinginseriousconsequences;

　　

(8)thosewhohavebeendisciplinedforrepeatedlyviolatingtheregulationsoftheschoolandhavenotchangedaftereducation.

　　

7.Thecollegeshallissueadisciplinaryverdictforpunishingthestudents,whichshallincludethefollowingcontents:

　　

(1)basicinformationofstudents;

　　

(2)thefactsandevidenceofthepunishment;

　　

(3)type,basisandtimelimitofpunishment;

　　

(4)thewayandtimelimitofappeal;

　　

(5)othernecessarycontents.

　　

8.Thepunishmentgivenbytheschooltothestudentsshouldbecombinedwitheducationandpunishment,andbesuitableforthenatureandseverityofthestudents'illegalanddisciplinarybehaviors.Thepunishmentmadebytheschoolshallbebasedonsufficientevidence,clearbasis,accuratenature,properprocedureandappropriatepunishment.

　　

9.Beforemakingadecisiononpunishmentorotherhandlingofastudent,theschoolshallinformthestudentofthefacts,reasonsandbasisforthedecision,informthestudentoftherighttomakeastatementandtodefendhimself,andlistentothestudent'sstatementanddefense.Thedisposal,punishmentdecisionanddisciplinaryverdictshallbedirectlydeliveredtothestudenthimselforherself.Ifthestudentrefusestosignonit,itcanbedeliveredbylien;ifthestudenthasleftthecollege,itcanbedeliveredbymail;ifitisdifficulttocontactthestudent,itcanbedeliveredbyannouncementusingtheschoolwebsite,newsmedia,etc.

　　

10.Ifastudentistobedisqualifiedfromenrollment,expelledfromschool,orotherwisedealtwithorpunishedinawaythatinvolvesthemajorinterestsofthestudent,thedecisionshallbesubmittedtothepresident'sofficemeetingoraspecialmeetingauthorizedbythepresident.

　　

11.Inadditiontothepunishment01expulsionfromschool,thepunishmentgiventostudentsshallgenerallybesetforaperiodof6to12months,whichshallbeundoneaccordingtotheproceduresprescribedbytheschool.Aftertheterminationofthepunishment,thestudentswillnotbeaffectedbytheoriginalpunishmentiftheyaregivencommendation,rewardandotherrightsandinterests.

　　

12.Thecollegeshalltruthfullyandcompletelyclassifythematerialsforrewarding,handling,punishingandterminationthepunishmentsofthestudentsintotheschool'sdocumentfilesandtheirownfiles.

　　

13.Studentswhohavebeenexpelledfromschoolshallbeissuedastudycertificatebytheschool.Studentsmustleavewithinalimitedtimeprescribedbythecollegeandtheexitandentrydepartmentofthepublicsecuritybureau.

　　

Ⅶ.AssessmentandPerformanceRecord

　　

1.Theschoolimplementscreditsystemmanagement.

　　

2.Studentsshallparticipateintheassessmentofcoursesandvariouseducationalandteachingprograms(hereinafterreferredtoascourses)specifiedintheschool'sprofessionaltalenttrainingprogram,andtheassessmentresultsshallberecordedinthescorebookandincludedinthestudent'sfile.

　　

3.Theassessmentisdividedintoexaminationandassessment.Generally,thescoresareevaluatedbyusingthescoringmethodssuchasthepercentagesystemorthefour-levelscoringsystem(excellent,good,pass,fail),whicharerecordedeachsemester.

　　

Theoverallassessmentresultsofcourseassessmentshallbecombinedwiththecomprehensiveassessmentresultsofusual,mid-term,finalassessmentandskillassessment.Theassessmentresultsareevaluatedaccordingtothestudents'learningattitude,questions,homeworkandtests.

　　

Theassessmentresultsofthepracticecoursemustbecomprehensivelyassessedaccording1otheskillassessmentstandardandtheperformanceofthecomprehensivepracticeprocess.

　　

Studentsarerequiredtoobtainmorethan60points(orpass)intheassessmentoftheircoursesbeforetheycanobtaincorrespondingcredits.Studentscanchoosetoretakeormake-upexaminationforcourseswhofailtopasstheexamination.

　　

4.Studentscanapplyforothermajorsintheschoolortakeotherprofessionalcourses:theycanapplyforCrossSchoolminorcoursesandparticipateintheopennetworkcoursesrecognizedbytheschool.Thecoursescores(credits)takenbythestudentswillberecognizedafterbeingapprovedbytheschool.

　　

5.Students'experiencesandachievementsrelatedtoprofessionallearningandacademicrequirements,suchasparticipatingininnovationandentrepreneurship,socialpractice.publishingpapers,obtainingpatentauthorization,canbeconvertedintocreditsandincludedinacademicachievements.

　　

6.Theschoolwillimprovethemanagementsystemofstudents'academicachievementsandschoolstatusfiles,recordandissuestudents'academicachievementstruthfullyandcompletely,andmarkthegradesobtainedthroughmake-upexaminationandretraining.Multiplepublicelectivecoursescanbewithdrawnwithinthespecifiedtime.Notdroppingoutwhilenotparticipatinginthestudyorfailinginthestudywillbemarked.

　　

Studentswhoaresuspendedduetodropoutandothercircumstanceswillberecordedforthecoursestheyhavetakenandcreditstheyhaveobtainedduringtheirstudyinschool.Ifastudentretakestheentranceexamination,meetstheadmissionconditions,andreenterstheschool,thecreditsobtainedbeforearerecognizedbytheschool.

　　

7.Ifastudentseriouslyviolatesthedisciplineofassessmentorcheats,theassessmentresultofthecoursewillbedeemedinvalid,andhe/shemustnotparticipateinthemake-upexaminationofthesemester,andwillbegivencorrespondingdisciplinarypunishmentaccordingtothecircumstancesofhis/herviolationofdisciplineorcheats.Thosewhoarebegivenwarning,seriouswarning,demeritrecordingorinspectioncanbegivenachanceofmake-upexaminationorrestudyiftheyperformwellafterthepunishmentislifted.

　　

8.Studentsmustparticipateintheactivitiesspecifiedintheeducationandteachingplanontime.Thosewhoareunabletoattendontimemustaskforleaveinadvanceandobtainapproval.Forthosewhoareabsentwithoutanyreason,thescorewillbecountedaszero.

　　

Ⅷ.AccommodationManagementRegulations

　　

1.AllstudentswhoareofficiallyregisteredinWSTChavetherighttostayandtheobligationtoabidebytherelevantregulationsondormitorymanagement.

　　

2.TheaccommodationofstudentsmustbesubjecttotheunifiedallocationofSchoolofInternationalEducation,LogisticsManagementandServiceCenter.

　　

3.Studentsareprohibitedtochangedormitories,bedsandlocks.Itisprohibitedtoarrangeaccommodationforotherswithoutpermission.

　　

4.Onedormitorychiefisselectedforeachdormitory,whosedutyistoassistwiththeideologicalworkofthemembersoftheroom,andtoberesponsiblefortheafter-schoolstudy,dormitoryhealth,physicalexercise,lifeaffairsandpublicpropertymanagementofthemembersoftheroom.Thedormitorychiefisdemocraticallyelectedbythemembersoftheroom.

　　

5.Takegoodcareofpublicpropertyandkeeptheindoorpropertyintact;allpublicpropertyintheroommustnotbearbitrarilymovedorusedforotherpurposes;andotherpublicpropertylntheschoolmustnotbemovedindoorswithoutauthorization.Itisforbiddentoscribbleandpasteontheindoororcorridorwalls;itisforbiddentokickthedoorandsteponthewalls.Anydamagemustbecompensatedaccordingtotheprice,anddisciplinarypunishmentmustbegivenaccordingtotheseriousnessofthecase.Ifnodirectresponsiblepersoncanbefound,thecompensationmustbesharedbythedormitorymembers.

　　

6.Payattentiontohygieneandconsciouslydevelopgoodhygienehabits.Thedormitorychiefwillberesponsibleforindoorandoutdoormanagement,establishasanitarydutysystem,andkeeptheroomcleanandorderly.Itisstrictlyprohibitedtospiteverywhere,throwpaperscraps,melonskin,fruitshellsandsundries;itisstrictlyprohibitedtopourwaterandthrowobjectstotheoutdoor,corridoranddownstairs;itisstrictlyprohibitedtowashthedormitory,corridorandstairswithwater;itisstrictlyprohibitedtodiscardwastesinthesink,sewagefloordrainortoilet.

　　

7.Payattentiontothesafeandeconomicaluseofelectricity.Whenpeopleleavethedormitory,theyshouldturnoffthepowerandturnoffthelights.Itisstrictlyforbiddentoconnectwires,useopenfire,usehigh-powerelectricalappliancesorburnarticles.Savewater,turnoffthefaucetafteruse,donotusethefire-fightingequipmentinthedormitorybuilding,donotopenthedistributionboxanddamagethebroadcasting,communicationandotherfacilities.

9.Inordertoensurepersonalsafety,itisstrictlyprohibitedtoplayandchatonthebalconyguardrailofthedormitory;itisstrictlyprohibitedtoplaceflowerpots,chairsandotheritemsonthebalconyguardrail,anditisstrictlyprohibitedtoclimboverthewalls,gatesandwindows.

　　

10.Studentsareprohibitedtocookinsidethedormitory.

　　

11.Itisforbiddentostayinotherpeople'sdormitoriesandwashclothesinthewashroomafterlightsout.

　　

12.Itisforbiddentosmoke,drinkorplaybasketballinthedormitoryarea;allformsofgamblingareforbidden;itisforbiddentobringthevideorecorder,VCDandtelevisiontothedormitoryforuse.

　　

13.Itisprohibitedtoread,listento,watch,disseminate,produceorsellillegalbooks,periodicalsandaudio-visualproducts.

　　

14.Studentsareprohibitedtoparticipateinillegalpyramidsellingandactivitiesofheresyandfeudalsuperstition.Withoutapproval,studentsareprohibitedtoengageinbusinessactivitiesinthedormitoryarea.Thosewhoviolatetheruleswillbecriticizedandeducatedorevengivendisciplinarysanctions.

　　

15.Withoutapproval,nooneoutsidetheschoolcanstayovernightinthedormitory,andstudentsmustnotstayoutside.

　　

16.Closedmanagementwillbeimplementedinthedormitory.Malestudentsareprohibitedtoenterfemalesdormitory,andsoarefemalestudents.Incaseofspecialcircumstances,theycanonlyenterthedormitoryafterbeingapprovedandregisteredbythecounselororheadteacher.

　　

17.Payattentiontosecurity.Whenleavingthedormitory,thedoorsmustbeclosedandlocked.

　　

18.Compensationmustbemadeforthedamageofpublicproperty.Thedormitorymaintenancesystemshouldbeimplemented,andtheitemstoberepairedshouldbereportedtothedormitoryadministrator.

　　

19.ThosewhostayinthecollegeduringvacationmustbeapprovedbySchoolofInternationalEducation(orcorrespondingsecondaryschools),gothroughtheaccommodationregistrationformalitieswithinoneweekbeforethevacation,andsubmitthesummarylisttotheschoolsecurityofficeforfiling.Thosewhostaywithoutpermissionwillbedealtwithseriouslyandpaytheaccommodationmanagementfee.

　　

20.Thosewhoviolatetheabove-mentionedprovisionswillbesubjecttoappropriatepointsdeductionordisciplinarypunishmentinaccordancewiththeMeasuresfortheEvaluationoftheRegulationsonDisciplinaryPunishmentofStudentsofWSTC.OthermattersnotcoveredhereinmaybeimplementedwithreferencetotheChinesestudentmanagementmanualofWSTC.

　　

Ⅸ.MedicalService

　　

1.Afterthefreshmenreporttothecollege,theymustgothroughaphysicalexaminationintherelevantentry-exitinspectionandquarantinedepartment.Thosewhofailtopassthephysicalexaminationwillnotberegistered.

　　

2.AccordingtotheregulationsoftheMinistryofEducationofChina,internationalstudentsarerequiredtobuyinsurance,otherwisetheywillnotberegisteredorwillbewith-drawnfromschool.Studentsarerequiredtopaytheinsurancefeeforeachschoolyearatthetimeofregistration.

　　

3.Internationalstudentsshouldseekmedicaltreatmentintimewhentheyareill,andreporttoSchoolofInternationalEducationintimewhentheyarediagnosedwithseriousdiseases.Themedicalexpensesofstudentswillbebornebythemselves,andSchoolofInternationalEducationcanassistinprovidingnecessarymaterialsforinsuranceclaimsettlement.

　　

4.Theschoolwillnotberesponsibleforanypersonalinjuryormedicalexpensescausedbythestudents'violationoflawsanddisciplines.

　　

Ⅹ.ExtracurricularActivities

　　

1.Thecollegeisequippedwithasportscenter,atenniscourt,basketballcourts,afootballfieldandothersportsfacilities.Internationalstudentscanusethemaccordingtotherelevantregulationsoftheschool.

　　

2.Internationalstudentscanparticipateintheclub,sportsteamandrelatedafter-schoolrecreationalsportsactivitiesorganizedbythestudentunion.Welcometoparticipateinvariouscelebrationsheldbythecollegeonmajorfestivals.

　　

3.AccordingtotheRegulationsofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaonForeignExchangesControl,foreignstudentswhocometoChinaforinternshipmustnotworkorpracticeinthefieldiftheresidencepermitheldbytheforeignerholdingthestudyresidencecertificatedoesnotindicatetheinformationspecifiedin,theprecedingparagraph.Withouttheconsentofthecollege,thestudentswillbearalltheconsequencesoftheirworkorinternship.

　　

4.Thecollegerespectsthenationalcustomsandreligiousbeliefsofforeignstudentsbutnoorganizationorindividualisallowedtocarryoutanyformofreligiousactivitiesindormitoryorcampus.

　　

5.ForeignersareforbiddentobringtoChinaprintedandaudio-visualproductsthatareharmfultoChina'ssocialandpublicinterests.

　　

Ⅺ.LibraryRegulations

　　

1.Studentscanborrowbooksintheschoollibrarywiththeirstudentcardsandcampuscardsafteractivation.

　　

2.Studentsshouldtakegoodcareofthebooks,mustnotscratchordamagethem,compensationwillbemadeaccordingtotheregulationsifbooksarelostordamaged.

　　

3.Thelibrarycardcanonlybeusedbyoneselfandcannotbelenttoothers.

　　

4.Incaseofanychangeintheaboveprovisions,themanagementregulationsformulatedbythelibrarywillprevail.

　　

Ⅻ.Graduation,CompletionandDropout

　　

1.Studentswhohavecompletedthecontentsspecifiedinthetalenttrainingprogramwithinthespecifiedstudyperiodoftheschoolandhavepassedthegraduationassessmentswillbeapprovedforgraduation.Studentsmustgothroughtheformalitiesforleavingtheschoolaccordingtotheregulationsandreceivethegraduationdiplomabeforeleavingtheschool.

　　

2.Studentswhohavecompletedthecontentsspecifiedinthetalenttrainingprogrambutfailtomeetthegraduationrequirementswithinthespecifiedstudyperiodoftheschoolwillbeallowedtocompletetheirstudiesandbeissuedacertificateofcompletion.

　　

3.Forstudentswhohavedroppedoutofschoolafterstudyingformorethanoneacademicyear,theschoolcanissueanactuallearningperformancecertificate.

　　

XIII.LeavingtheCollege

　　

1.Beforeleavingthecollegeongraduationorcompletionoftheirstudies,studentsarerequiredtoreturnalltheirborrowedarticlesandbookstothedepartmentsconcerned.Theyshouldreturnthestudent左边ID右边cardstotheSchoolofInternationalEducation.

　　

2.Studentsshouldreturntheirroomkeysandalltheborroweddailynecessitiesonedaybeforetheirdeparture.Self-fundedstudentsmustpayofftherentsandotherexpensesifany.

　　

3.Studentswhohavecompletedorgraduatedfromthecollegemustleavewithinthetimespecifiedintheresidencepermit.

　　

4.Forthestudentswhohavebeenexpelledordroppedoutofthecollege,SchoolofInternationalEducationwilltimelynotifytheexitandentrydepartmentofWuxiPublicSecurityBureautocanceltheirresidencepermitaccordingtothelawandsupervisetheirdeparturewithinatimelimit.

　　

5.Accordingtotherequirementsofthecollege,ifastudentneedstoleavethecollegeforshorttime,he/sheneedstosigntheletterofcommitmentonpersonalsafetyresponsibility.Duringtheleave,thesafetyofallpersonalandpropertyofthestudentisathis/herownstake.
